Good Guys Finish First!

There's a popular saying that goes like this, good guys finish last. I don't agree with this statement at all! Yes, some women go for the bad boy, mysterious type but at the end of the day they usually marry the good guy! I asked some of my close female friends what they thought were important qualities when seeking a man and came up with a list. 

1. Loving
2. Honest
3. Single
4. Hard working
5. Employed
6. Dedicated
7. Understanding
8. Affectionate
9. Kind
10. Open Minded
11. Funny
12. Out going
13. Cares about his family

Now, if you asked me I'd say that these are all qualities a good guy possesses. Right? So what's happening? I think all of these good guys that are out here might not have enough courage to bump the bad boys out of the way and swoop their lady off of her feet. From my understanding and experience those bad boy types are aggressive and persistent with their approach. Ladies don't walk pass the nice guy and right into the arms of the jerk. Dear, good guys Don't fret patience, persistence will get you the girl in the end.

The Dating Divas is a blog I love! Its ran by a group of women and they all give tons of cool dating advice.

"Popping" the "Question"?

Candles, flowers, and candy, oh my! When asking for your woman's hand in marriege one should try to make it as special as possible!  Romance is a MUST when popping the question! One doesn't need to plan the most extravagant series of events to try to impress your woman....

 Creativity and especially effort are highly appreciated by women. We love to know that some thought was put into what you men do, especially for something like a proposal. Now, I'm not saying fly your woman out to Fiji and write "will you marry me" in gold (even though that does sound wonderful).

When on a budget there are several affordable ways into getting that YES your looking for. Flowers and candles are certainly romantic and will set any mood. Filling up a room with tons of lit candles and flowers everywhere is sure to take a woman's breath away. Marrying Another Religion?

Love hath no boundaries!
Unless hes a Jew and you're a Christian, or she's a Muslim and you're a Buddhist... Well you get my drift?

Religion is usually a hot topic when brought up in any conversation, so imagine in the dating game. Usually one goes for someone who mirrors their religious beliefs. But what happens when you unexpectedly fall for someone who has a completely different belief system than you?! All though challenging, it is 100 percent possible. Both parties must be willing to come to a mutual understanding and first know that they will face many obstacles. Obstacles like who's doing the converting, and most importantly a couples' family members. Often times parents envision a certain mate for their child especially in religious and traditional communities and if they stray away from that path their family pictured for them it may cause a rift in the relationship. Having in-laws that aren't to fond of you can cause problems in most relationships. Before deciding to take the plunge and get serious with a significant other who has a different religious background both parties must have the "sit down". Sit down and have a serious conversation about where the relationship is going, and if its worth continuing. If you decide that you two are soul mates and can't eat, can't sleep without the other then go for it. Just make sure you guys are in it together because it may not be easy!
But have no fear that four letter word is here, (Love!) I'm a strong believer in the saying "Love conquers all." And once you find your mate nothing else matters. Believe in each other, be there for each other and everything will be ok!

Dear wikipedia, define Marriage.

I got to thinking about marriage and decided to have a look see on its definition on the popular site Wikipedia. Now Wikipedia is scrutinized often for having tons inaccurate information. Wikipedia allows Internet users to edit and add what ever they like, which makes it in the eyes of many less credible site. below is the information I found about marriage on wikipeida. I felt the information was accurate 100 percent. Marriage is a union between two persons. once married you are bined together and the only way out of a marriage is through divorce.
